Consultation and Second opinions
Dr. Graham-Brown and Dr. Johari are available to consult with other medical and mental health providers, patients receiving care from other providers, other providers, and family members into offering second opinions. There are times when collaborating with a colleague, reviewing a treatment history and getting a fresh perspective can be critical in advancing care.
In addition to providing consultation to providers and families, Dr. Graham-Brown has a strong interest in providing capacity evaluations for individuals with severe mental illness, as well as elders who may be at risk and who are in need of services to preserve their independence. She provides consultation to The Department of Mental Health Legal Department and all area Elder Protective Service Agencies. She is happy to provide private consultations.

Psychiatric evaluations
Dr.Graham-Brown and Dr. Johari are experts in psychiatric evaluations and diagnoses. Having an accurate and thoughtful evaluation that incorporates a patient's lived experience, family, social and cultural context is critical in developing a comprehensive and individualized treatment plan. Following the evaluation phase, Dr. Graham-Brown and Dr. Johari will work collaboratively with you, and any other people you choose, to develop a treatment plan that is sensitive to your goals.
